|BULK HAUL 2 was filmed mainly in Australia and New Zealand and, as usual the CPP crew have come up with some great stories.
The programme kicks off with a stunning Freightliner Argosy/Feldbinder quad-quad combination working for Golden Bay Cement south of Auckland and moves to a Godfrey bonneted Kenworth eight-axle truck-trailer combination filmed on what must have been one of New Zealand's wettest days ever.
Star of the show is the immaculate Antipodean Atkinson road train collecting grain from remote paddocks in NSW and hustling along bush roads with a Detroit V8 engine for power. This story will please any enthusiast.
After that CPP follows a B-train tipper as it goes about its daily duties and the final Australian feature looks at an AB-Triple 3-trailer side-tipper combination headed up by a splendid Western Star prime mover.
The last feature on this programme exchanges both the Southern Hemisphere and also its warmer weather for Finland, the most-forested country in Europe where a Sisu truck is featured at work.
Sisu is a name not familar to everyone but this brief look at a superb Sisu cassette tipper working in Norther Finland during the winter months cannot fail to leave you impressed. Powered by an 18-litre CAT engine producing 630hp it makes light work performing at its 60-tonne gross weight.
Filmed in High Definition. Running time approximately 70 minutes.
